About Szu Wang

Szu Wang was born in Taiwan, grew up in the Bay Area, and lived in San Francisco for nearly 15 years. Szu received her B.S. in Bioengeering from UC Berkeley and started her career as an engineer in the biotech industry. She later made her first career transition to become a supply chain professional after receiving her APICS CPIM certification.

In 2019, Szu and her husband became expats and moved their young family (including a newborn, a toddler, and Corgi/German Shepherd dog) across the world to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. They spent three wonderful years immersing themselves in the culture and community before making their next move to Taipei, Taiwan, where they currently reside. With her professional experience in scenario planning & lifelong passion for personal finance, it has been a natural transition into her current role with Modern Family Finance.

In her spare time, Szu enjoys exploring hot pot places across Taiwan, walking around Taipei streets and alleys, learning to play tennis, listening to podcasts, and baking sweet treats.
